Class 42 - BR Maroon - D832 - OO Scale - DCC Sound Fitted

I love my Warship straight out of the box it ran well . The sound profile and speakers are very good too . You have full control of lighting options via DCC . The livery is very crisp and there is enough detail but it’s robust enough to be handled without bits falling off.
Well worth the money .

First rate model runs and sounds great

An excellent model, and nicely controllable. Detail parts were fitted successfully at one end, but they are easy to lose (thankfully this didn't happen) and something of a challenge to fit for those of us with ageing eyes! A little bit surprised that neither brass nameplates nor a driver were provided.

I've been eagerly awaiting this model having a weakness for anything a little different and the western region knew how to do "different "
I was not disappointed, the model captures the unique look and sound of the real loco well.
It ran smoothly straight from the box and the fit and finish is rendered to a high standard. The only thing I would of liked is a set of etched plates as i feel this would add that extra touch.
This is a great addition to my collection adding that unmistakable western sound and character.

Fabulous model, I've been looking forward to receiving this since reordering back in March after the Heljan/accurascale merger. Very good value for money for a sound fitted version. Obviously worked perfectly out of its box, sounds really good as well even though I've never seen or heard a real Warship in person. Some of the F functions will take some getting used to as a few of my favourites are in the teen or mid 20s functions. Could do with a 'drive hold' as well, maybe its called something else on the list. Anyway, it's super and will have lots of fun over the weekend messing about with it.

Excellent model, looks good, runs well and sounds great.

I was very pleased to receive this model. It performs exceptionally well and it was great to be able to release the body without any problems at all, just had to use couple of plastic strips and the body came free easily. Consequently, I was able to install a crew at each end as the crew cab was open just a matter of using a bit of blacktac to fix in place.
This model looks very much the part on my layout.
Looking forward to my next arrival from Heljan Class 44.

I have always rated Heljan diesel mechanisms for the quality of their slow speed running and sheer grunt. But my newly arrived, sound fitted, D832 Onslaught has to be the best yet. It has just crawled the 7 feet 6 inches of my test track in 6 minutes 36 seconds at speed step 1 on my NCE controller. No hesitation, just sublime slow motion. It moves with the same sense of mass you get with the real thing (and sounds like it too). Superb!

Model very good looks and very good livery applied and detail.Like D831 I purchased gave this model a running in time step 5 to step 40 for 40 minutes gradually increasing speed as shown and then reducing the speed to step to zero and loco gradually come to a stand.I then attached 7 mk1 coaches and again moved at step 1 which makes it realistic speed for starting away or coming to a stand.The sound is very good and outstanding in high or low power.Very good model alround highly recommended.

For me this model is excellent. Smooth running with a great sound file. Your best model yet.

A very nice high detailed model that runs well.

It's been a long wait to get hold of a 'Warship' which I have always wanted, and ultimately it has been well worth it. Bringing memories of Class 42's running through Barnstaple on the way to Ilfracombe and Bideford. So far it has only run on my test track, but very soon it will be running on a 12' x 8' layout which I am helping my brother to build. So something else to look forward to.

Great Loco as expected from Heljan. All good from me.

Great detail and fantastic model. only downfall was the lack of stay alive function. Would have been a great asset on my layout as I have insulfrog turnouts.

The body shape and detail capture the Warship admirably. But the real quality of this model is in the detail. The engine room and cab lights are dim, as they should be, rather than too bright. The range and sophistication of the sound file is outstanding as is the sound quality. I could have hoped for a two tone horn, but that is about the only criticism I could make of this outstanding model.

This model is getting generally rave reviews.
My model has a few issues which Heljan are going to take on.
Visually, she looks superb. Let's hope the issues are minor.

The loco arrived safely and well packed.
It's certainly very well detailed and finished : the best model of a Warship that I've ever seen!
However I'll need to get in touch with Heljan directly because contrary to what I was told the sound doesn't work on my analogue DC layout.
But an excellent model.
