Customers praised this O Scale locomotive as "stunning" with "excellent quality" detailing and InterCity livery. Customers said it runs smoothly through curves with "very controllable" speed down to a crawl. Packaging impressed with foam and wooden base. Some noted lighting issues in DC mode and minor livery color mismatch with coaches.
I love this loco. You don’t see many in this livery and I am glad Heljan did it with the 37. Slight issue with the lights being on regardless of direction, but I am sure this can be resolved.
What a stunning class 37 in the InterCity livery and an absolute bargain.
A very nice model with good detailing; it runs well through Peco R2 curves. If you lift the model by the middle, the body flexes inward against the frame by a few millimeters. To prevent this, I plan to attach a small strip of wood or plastic there.
Fantastic looking class 37 in Intercity swallow livery and very pleased with it.
Presented well in box and foam protection with the loco secured to wooden base.
I truly think it is the best way to pack and secure these large heavy locos instead of previously relying on hardened foam alone, such as the class 47s etc.
Highly recommended class 37 in general and look forward to purchasing more in the future. Also fantastic fast postage, spot on.
Excellent Quality, Nice crisp lines all over as you can see, easy to put speaker into fuel tank as it comes on its own for you to attatch.
Stunning model. Love 37 ‘s. My only concern is I think the lower part of the livery is too white. Am no expert but it doesn’t match Heljan coaches with the Same livery
Nice model shame about the light issue on dc running where head n tail lights light when running in forward running back just the reds n change direction n fault swaps ends apart from that very good n tail lights turned off
A lot of loco for the money and looks fabulous.
Well I am overjoyed with this wonderful model of the class 37 its paint finish is top notch and looks the part but its the running that counts and boy this one is smooth and very controllable down to a crawl a nice all round model, roll on the class 25 Ethel.
