Great loco to add to the fleet. I only wish it was cheaper as I do not want the speakers that came with it. That said it looks good and runs very well.
The locomotive detail and paint finish is excellent, with a really smooth running motor and looks great with the snow ploughs fitted.
Very nice model, lots of lighting features, shame the speakers were not pre-fitted as described, but at least they were supplied with the model for fitting later on.
Great product
This got 4/5 due to the time it took Heljan to actually dispatch this model (almost a month)! And still no response to my email. Hmmm
Was it worth the wait…
Yes, the Heljan Class 26 is a lovely model and is a good representation of the real thing. My only bug bear is that they pre fit the detailing parts to both ends, hopefully they will adopt the Accurascale style of detailing fitting.
The livery application is perfect, with crisp clean lines between the colour edges. The detailing parts, while frustrating are of good scale and don’t look out of place. The model is a good performer, while only running it in, it is clear this model has a good mechanical components.
Would I recommend. Yes

Have I already purchased another: Yes
Summary: hopefully a glitch in the system, caused the delay and the long lead times from order to delivery won’t be a common problem. The model is crisp and represents the real thing well.
