Customers praised this OO Scale locomotive model for its excellent detail and "crisp" livery application. The grey/yellow Dutch livery is well-received, runs smoothly, and depicts the class accurately. Some noted the price point could be better, particularly regarding included speakers, and delivery times varied.
This is a great model, the paint finish is excellent with detailed decals well picked out and crisp. A really smooth running motor and lots of fine detail throughout the model from the bogies and under frame to the buffer detail and wipers.
Great loco to add to the fleet. I only wish it was cheaper as I do not want the speakers that came with it. That said it looks good and runs very well.
This model took almost a month to be delivered, which is why it received 4/5 stars. Customer services were good and quick to respond.
Anyway the model - was worth the wait.
The livery application is crisp with defined lines between the colours and no paint bleed.
The model has good levels of detail on the underframe. Most appear molded but are crisp and have good depth.
Buffer beam detailing is factory fitted at both ends and I wish they would only pre fit one end as this does make fitter a coupler a pain.
While the cab interior is hard to see through the windows, it is detailed and in different colour.
The roof is mainly molded detailing, but again is crisp and has good depth.
All in all this model depicts the class well and is worth the asking price.
Would I recommend- Yes
Would I buy again - yes
Have I brought again - no not yet as waiting to see what Class 27/33s become available first
An excellent purchase, a smooth runner which I already expected as I already have several Class 26 & 27 from previous runs. The improved detailing is very impressive and is matched with the quality of the mechanicals. I have purchased many Heljan Locos over the years and never had a problem. Keep up the good work!.

An excellent model
Excellent rendition of the BR Civil Engineering ‘Dutch’ livery, the upgraded tooling certainly captures the look of the real thing. Just got to fit a DCC chip to run the loco.
A couple of days slower to arrive than my previous order, but quickly enough and looks the part - always like the Grey/Yellow livery
