This weathered OO scale locomotive model receives high praise for its detailed appearance and smooth performance. Customers said it's an "amazing model" with "excellent" detail. However, some noted issues with buffer beam detailing interfering with NEM couplings and inconsistent painting of clear parts. The BR blue weathering shade disappointed one customer. Many appreciated promotional discounts making it great value.
Really fine model by Heljan, especially after 30% off on spin to win. Fast delivery too. But, fitting detailing to both ends is a classic Heljan frustration. It’s a real shame to have to start cutting pipes off one end to enable a locomotive to be a locomotive and fit a coupling. Let the owner decide and gain efficiency within the manufacturing process. Most modellers love tinkering anyway, and that’s necessary for adding those fine snowploughs. Well done though Heljan.
Great loco to add to the fleet. I only wish it was cheaper as I do not want the speakers that came with it.
That said it looks good and runs very well.

Amazing price amazing model
A good model but it is let down by sloppy painting and fitting of clear parts. I am sure that these will improve under Accurascale's attention and I look forward to seeing future models.
Great little class 26 well detailed and nice little runner , my only criticism is the fitting buffer beam detail on both ends gets in the way of NEM coupling…

Excellent looking model
Although it is a lovely runner, my main disappointment is that the shade of BR blue looks far too dark on the main bodyside, as when the prototype got weathered, the blue tended to fade and look LIGHTER than it was ex works. Less so with the yellow front.Not getting into debates about BR blue itself! Would like to get a paler body when these become available.
