Customers praised these OO scale tank wagon models for their "great detail" and "excellent value for money." Most run freely and smoothly, though some noted initial stiffness requiring running-in or coupling adjustments. The foam-lined packaging received high marks. A few shoppers mentioned wheel friction and back-to-back spacing issues needing attention.

These are a really nice wagon and can run in my speedlink service. Looking forward to weathering and running them in

I've now run these for an extended period and they really are very free running, nicely detailed models. Coupling to non Heljan stock isn't perfect - height doesn't quite match so some manual intervention is required - but otherwise spot on.

Attractive wagons - run freely, beautifully packaged. Knocked down from 5 stars just because the couplings need to be 'fettled' to get them working smoothly.
Very pleased with this purchase

Lovely detailed models at a great price. And the drooping coupling issue appears to have been solved

Just wanted to add that I've measured back to backs on these ( I have two packs ie 8 wagons) at an average of 14.5-14.7mm but thete majority cluster around 14.6mm which is a tad on the high side again as I have commented for the Cargowaggon. This may explain the stiff running to start with as they need to be a little under 14.5 on Code 100. Will adjust when I get the time and also running in may also be the answer as well as some oil.

Really its a 3.5 Stars for a few small 'niggles' but the price brings them into perspective at 4* as they are excellent value. I love the sprung buffers as they are great value at this price - but there's no accessory pack with extra couplings etc - Fair enough. Main issue seems to be the poor rolling wheels full of friction. A secondary issue are the feint horizontal moulding lines on the sides which I haven't seen on pics of the prototype. Running on the layout I suspect you wouldn't notice them! It seems to be primarily an issue of poor bearings but also there's some brake drag (needs very gentle easing away from the wheels). They may well benefit from prolonged running in and lubrication (they might run hot !!). I've yet to check back to backs as that might be an issue. Niggles aside they're good models and will look good together in a train. They're ripe for weathering and any experienced modeller may want to make them more realistic: plenty of scope for that!
The future is bright with Accurascale now steering things to the better.

Fantastic detail for the price, really nicely put together and decorated beautifully. Highly recommended for the bargain price, especially if purchased with another tanker pack.
