Detailed Description
Detailed Description
These four wheel tank wagons were often a common sight around freight yards and large oil depots, being shunted around or taken away to depots. They were fitted with bottom discharge outlets and were sometimes fitted with a static steam supply at the discharge point in order to accelerate the flow of the more viscous fluids carried.
This model features many external details, such as sprung buffers, 3-link chain couplings, free rolling wheels, external pipe details and clear livery and owner markings.

This O Scale tank wagon receives universal praise from customers for its exceptional quality and detail. Shoppers highlight "sprung buffers and suspension," "heavyweight" construction, and "suspended wheelsets." The model "runs very smoothly" with excellent detailing even on basic livery. No negative feedback reported.
Great Item and of a very high quality. Sprung buffers as well as suspension.
I bought two of these wagons direct from Heljan. They arrived within a week, well packed and in excellent condition. I already have three similar ones in blue with ICI branding. These are superb, well detailed, heavyweight wagons with suspended wheelsets, not cheap flimsy stock. They run very smoothly. I have no hesitation recommending these, Heljan are my go-to manufacturer for O-gauge.
Great early 80s ICI Tank Wagon.
Very nice detail on these medium tankers even on a basic livery version.
Really nice model. Lovely details. Runs really well too. A spot of weathering & it will look even better!
Very good loads of detail
Brilliant
