Disse tyskbyggede railbusser blev leveret i april 1958 og opererede oprindeligt på Maldon, Braintree og Saffron Walden linjerne. Det sidste fungerende eksempel blev taget ud af drift i august 1967, og fire overlevede til bevarelse. Denne model er en forbedring af den tidligere version, der først blev produceret af Heljan i 2012.

Something a little different and quirky. The more I look at this model the more I like it. For a four wheeled model it runs excellent, no stuttering and very quiet. The is no doubt helped buy it being surprisingly heavy.

Packing was excellent and very quick
Another great model of the RTC Railbus vehicle. Its a heavy beast straight from the box. Painted and printing is top notch and chrisp, and the detailing is marvellous throughout the model. With the price of these being under £100, they are a superb bargain purchase.
Warning: As I'm a DC user, I think it is important to mention that anyone who is a DCC user, and wanting to chip this model take heed. You have to remove the air-horns from the roof to access the body screws underneath them. Then with a blade under the bottoms of the doors to split the seal to break the bonding, while being careful not to damage the paint work.
Lovely Railbus. Love the colours. Quite heavy. Love the fact it's got inside lights and outside lights which shine really nicely.
Size isnt everything with this model! Its such a nice unique Railbus, something different for the layout, very well detailed and lighting too as well as DCC ready, very happy.
My first purchase of a 4 wheel single railbus after buying numerous twin Pacers before and I wasn't disappointed.
Firstly it feels like a brick to hold as it's so heavy.
The detail is fantastic and copes with all my R2 and R3 curves,setrack points and complicated trackwork on depot.

Very good looking model, although the fitment of a DCC chip could be made easier, following the instructions was not easy and also due to difficulty actually accessing the board it was easier to unscrew the pcb!
Running wise, I now need to fit a stay alive due to constantly stopping on my layout which is fitted with insulfrog points.
Hopefully future products will address this following the Accurascale acquisition as their newer releases have these as standard.

Very nice model with lots of weight. Runs very smoothly and quietly. Something a little different and adds interest and a little colour to the layout. Excellent value for money.

This a superbly finished model, detailing & scaling are perfect ! After
running the Rail bus in, is as smooth as silk, a welcome addition to my
diesel yard....top stuff Heljan !!....my only sorrow is to fit crew or DDC
to it (crew in my case) means prising the to two halves of the metal body
Apart with a sharp blade !!!! I'm sorry I won’t do it as it will damage
the fine detail body paint,apart from that ...get one while you can !!!
