Disse tyskbyggede railbusser blev leveret i april 1958 og opererede oprindeligt på Maldon, Braintree og Saffron Walden linjerne. Det sidste fungerende eksempel blev taget ud af drift i august 1967, og fire overlevede til bevarelse. Denne model er en forbedring af den tidligere version, der først blev produceret af Heljan i 2012.

Customers praised this OO scale railbus model as an "excellent model" with "amazing quality" and "fantastic" detailing. The weathered finish is described as "subtle" and adds character. Shoppers noted it "runs brilliantly" straight from the box and at low speeds. Many highlighted its substantial weight as positive. Suggested improvements include adding drivers and screw link couplings as standard.
The weathered finish applied to this model is fairly discrete and really just to the chassis so it is not obtrusive. In fact, in my view it adds extra character.
The handrails by the passenger doors are vulnerable to being squeezed if one is not careful but the ones on mine are fairy tight to the body anyway.
I ordered another one of these for our elderly neighbour who struggles with the internet. He thought mine was such a good model that he wanted one. Brilliant model which is full of character. It’s good to have something a little different on the layout! Highly recommend.

Watched a couple of reviews on line and was pleasantly surprised as to how easy it was to gain access. Can't see the point of the clips to hold the body on and they are the things that necessitates the body being prised apart. I'd have thought the two screws and gravity were enough to hold it all together. Easy to chip up but if there's another run being done then I'd suggest a speaker enclosure at least and a space for a stay alive.
Excellent model especially with DCC. I think model manufacturers should include drivers. I have added myself, also added red oil lamps both ends plus cab light.
Received as a replacement for a failed model, this one has run faultlessly so much relieved and pleased with the service received. Thank you. M Phillips

I thought it was really good. Worked well out of the box and the weathering was nice and subtle. Also it was flipping heavy - not a bad thing. It would be good to have the **** link couplings fitted. Lighting was excellent. I would like easy access to the destination lights to change them for my layout. 👍

Lovely little model, which runs perfectly straight from the box. It will make a good addition on the "preserved line" on my layout.
