Disse tyskbyggede railbusser blev leveret i april 1958 og opererede oprindeligt på Maldon, Braintree og Saffron Walden linjerne. Det sidste fungerende eksempel blev taget ud af drift i august 1967, og fire overlevede til bevarelse. Denne model er en forbedring af den tidligere version, der først blev produceret af Heljan i 2012.

The weathered finish applied to this model is fairly discrete and really just to the chassis so it is not obtrusive. In fact, in my view it adds extra character.
The handrails by the passenger doors are vulnerable to being squeezed if one is not careful but the ones on mine are fairy tight to the body anyway.
I ordered another one of these for our elderly neighbour who struggles with the internet. He thought mine was such a good model that he wanted one. Brilliant model which is full of character. It’s good to have something a little different on the layout! Highly recommend.
