Den britiske jernbane Class 47 diesel-lokomotiv blev introduceret i begyndelsen af 1960'erne som en del af Storbritanniens hurtige skift fra damp til dieseltræk. Bygget af Brush Traction BR Crewe Works, blev der produceret 512, hvilket gør det til en af de største lokomotivklasser i Det Forenede Kongerige. Designet som en blandet trafikmotor, trak den ekspres passagertog, pakker og tung godstransport over hele landet.
Selvom de tidlige motorer led under pålidelighedsproblemer, forbedrede senere modifikationer ydeevnen. Omnummereret under TOPS-systemet i 1970'erne, blev Class 47'ere et syn på hovedlinjer og ruter, og de forblev i drift i årtier, hvor nogle stadig er i drift i dag.

Customers praised this O Scale locomotive for its "fine detail," "great price," and smooth running capabilities. The livery and weight impressed many shoppers. However, multiple customers reported receiving damaged buffers and loose parts in transit, suggesting packaging issues. Despite these concerns, most remain satisfied with the model's quality.

Received this lovely class 47 in Departmental Dutch livery and very impressed with its detail and weight. It looks to be a beautiful loco, however it came damaged with one buffer completely sheered off from one end and that was under the side of the body in transit :( (scratching away)
Also at the other end, one buffer was extremely loose and almost separate from the buffer beam entirely with a missing air line from the same buffer beam. Was it dropped into the box??? Are people too heavy handed??? Who knows.
I know this is easily repaired but I shouldn't have to and it takes away some of enjoyment of receiving such and item, even at the more sensible prices.
A little deflated with the damage but it still represents a nice class 47.
I just hope others are not experiencing the same?
This is a beautifully smooth running model, Dutch livery with appropriate number (47332 appears to not have BR logo, so simple to do). DCC unfriendly, but there is guidance on this on RMWeb.

As much as the loco is a fine piece of kit there were 4 parts broken and one part missing from this loco.
I’ve fixed the broken parts plus I had a sparefor the missing part.

Fine detail and great price! Optional headcodes are brilliant to help chose the prototype! Crisp livery application too! The cab details are brilliant 10/10 all round model

Great Model love the Class 47, and at this price you can't go wrong.
This was a replacement for the same locomotive again the locomotive is damaged buffers only this time it's both end I'm not happy and will be sending it back to heljan has they clearly need to address issues with the locomotive
The livery and model are well made this my only 47 to date will get a few more has my pension allowance comes in
Arrived with a few loose parts and snapped buffer, but that is par fir this loco, as it is not secured by plinth. Overall, happy with it.
Great model, super fast delivery! One star knocked off because of loose buffer in box, which refitted no problem. This loco didnt have the usual plinth which made getting it out of the packaging awkward. That said the model itself is great 👍
