Klasse 128: M55990 i BR Blå (OO Skala)

’m really pleased with this Class 128 - BR Blue - M55990. It runs superbly on my layout and has a really strong presence on the track.
One of my favourite details is the “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?” graffiti on the front, which I’ve highlighted in the screenshots. It gives the model real character and makes it stand out from a standard release.
I also really like the weathering on this one. Normally with Heljan weathered models, I sometimes feel the finish is neither here nor there and needs extra work adding to make it look right. However, this Class 128 is already weathered to a very good standard straight out of the box, with a convincing used appearance.
My only slight criticism is that the BR blue may be a little too dark, but that does not take much away from what is otherwise a fantastic model and is hidden by the weathering.
Overall, this is a great runner, looks excellent on the layout, and is one of the Heljan models I’m very pleased to own. Highly recommended.
