Bygget i 1958, blev klasse 122 dieselmotorvogne primært brugt til forstadsarbejde i London Midland-regionen, og nogle nåede endda så langt som at køre på skotske ruter. Denne design af enkeltvognsenheder blev kaldt "Bubble Cars" af jernbaneentusiaster. I 1968 blev nogle af klasse 122 enhederne ombygget til at transportere pakker og omklassificeret til klasse 131.
Denne model har et højt niveau af udvendig detalje, en kraftfuld motor og et indrettet interiør. En fantastisk tilføjelse til din BR Era modeljernbane.

Very please with the 122 in the Blue and Grey Livery, the detail is brilliant, I cannot fault the model, the external and interior lights are good. Just needs driver, passengers and a sound decoder fitting to finish a good model off.
Nice model, arrived quickly, tho there were a few loose parts floating around inside the body but only the seats soon rectified,
Great model. Well packaged and easy DCC sound conversion. Nice touch to have wiring underneath for a speaker. I fitted an additional interior tablet speaker and stay alive in the guards compartment. Just bear in mind that this is around 250mm from the decoder socket, so you’ll need to extend the wiring if soldering these directly to your decoder. Really quick delivery, and very satisfied, thanks!
