Disse firehjulede tankvogne var ofte et almindeligt syn omkring godshavne og store oliedeponier, hvor de blev flyttet rundt eller taget væk til deponier. De var udstyret med bundafløbsudtag og var nogle gange udstyret med en statisk dampforsyning ved afløbsstedet for at accelerere strømmen af de mere viskøse væsker, der blev transporteret.

Well what can i say Nice models i have bought 4 of these esso tanks and took advantage of heljans 10% dicount on the second I am impress for a little tank sure doesn't dissappoint I am not opening all the boxes to show them all But here is the first one in from with in the box and I going to use them on my other layouts which is a small diesel depot. I am well happy. But yes Definitely recommend them. A++++

Well these are just lovely. I was in two minds about buying oil tankers as in truth (I thought...) I'd rarely run them, as my layout is a tad small.
...Aaaaand then they arrived! And they are gorgeous, and so I inevitably invent an excuse to run them anyway. Rule 1.
As always (IME) the detailing, scaling, fit and finish are superlative - they're just really nice things to behold and to run. A four wagon rake looks great behind my class 73, or 3MT tank - and now I need to build a petrochem plant of some kind...
The multi-buy discount is very worthwhile, too. Very pleased indeed all-told.

Accurascale's acquisition of Heljan and particularly its policy on price coupled with the quality of the product appears to have sparked a real surge of interest in 0 gauge - hardly surprising looking at this wagon as an example. Superb quality at a great price - more please.
